Professional meetings
The Région Sud, host region of the Cannes Film Festival, together with its partners, is offering professional meetings on current topics in the film and audiovisual industry:

Young people’s movie theaters experiences, regional film talents and entrepreneurs, pitches from a feature-film writing and film score residency, announcement of the winners of a traveling short-film writing residency, press conference for an international co-production platform, secrets of animation filmmaking in our region, meetings with high school students.

Region Sud’s line-up in Cannes 2025

The Région Sud is the third French region for the number of filming days. Our regional fund aims at promoting creation in all its diversity: from screenwriting to post-production, we support feature films, animated films, documentaries, TV drama, immersive works, web-creation, videogames.

After the worldwide success of the animated feature“Flow”,(Oscar 2025, Golden Globes 2025, Cesar 2025) 8 films supported by the Region Sud have made it to the Cannes Film Festival selections :
